Astronauta

Astronauta is a long, colourful shawl knitted sideways. The entire shawl is worked in garter stitch, alternating two colors: one solid and one variegated/selfstriping. A long curve made by slipped stitches divide the top side in simple garter stitch from the bottom in reverse garter stitch. With this simple trick, the top side looks more “striped”, while the bottom one looks like a woven fabric, in more muted tones.
