What’s this: This is the Aurora Borealis 3.5-pattern set.
Why should I make this: The set includes a cowl, hat, and fingerless mittens in 2 lengths. The intricate stitch pattern will show off your yarn in a lovely way.

Who is it for: Hat is sized 18’’ – 22’’ and will therefore fit child to adult heads; cowl is one-size & buttoned to be adjustable for all. Mittens are offered in 2 lengths to suit your preference.
Where do I start: This set is rated Intermediate - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches & post stitches. You will need 300g of worsted weight yarn (used here, Malito Marbelous by Fibrelya & a 5 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, some stitch markers, a pompom or pompom maker, and 9 buttons.
