Don’t get me wrong, the finished article is beautiful, absolutely perfect, however, I had to spend hours (literally several hours) rewriting the pattern so that it came out as it should. It looks exactly right now, but without having spent the time writing out the pattern in full, it wouldn’t have done for less experienced knitters perhaps. Following the pattern as purchased, for me wouldn’t have worked at all. However, if you are prepared to spend the time doing what I did, the end result is beautiful!
I am so pleased at how this blanket has turned out. It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s the first time I’ve knit anything like this before. The instructions were excellent very easy indeed to understand. Every stitch and row was explained. Finished product was exactly as the pattern. I knit it for my first great grandchild and friends I’ve shown it to have greatly admired it and said it was a real family heirloom. Yes I would strongly recommend this pattern and so convenient to be able to download.
The pattern is easy to read and understand.
