Product Details
Baby Blanket Lullaby is worked using the Slip Stitch technique. The slip stitch creates a lovely stitch pattern and also easy to work. You are working with only one color per row. Are you a novice knitter and want to work something up using more than one color, but fear that next step? The slip stitch just may be your ticket out of the “One Color Club”.
♥The stitch pattern repeat is included in the pattern! *A circular needle is used for this pattern however, you will be working straight. The cord helps hold the weight of the blanket as you knit.
Skills needed for the baby blanket are knit, purl, slip stitch and adding a new color. The baby blanket was worked using Naturally Caron/Country yarn. However, any baby-soft DK weight yarn will do. Ella Rae Cozy Alpaca has lots of fantastic colors to choose from. I have worked up a few blankets this past winter using Ella Rae Cozy Alpaca and it's fast becoming one of my favorite yarns to work with.
