Product Details
Fingerless mitts and matching beret in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino or Eco Baby yarns.
I knitted the mitts on 4 needles so no seams to sew up! Instructions are given for knitting the beret on 4 needles, or 2, the choice is yours!
The mitts take hardly any yarn at all. The beret, even the larger size, can be knit from one 50g ball, but you'll need a second to knit the mitts as well. And then you'll have a bit left over for your next project ... :D
I called the design Babylove because of the little heart lace pattern. Between the heart panels on the beret are bands of chevron garter stitch that end naturally in a faux bobble - it just folds that way - really clever. And then to finish it off, a bobble is attached to the centre of the crown - remember to attach it securely, so it can't be pulled off by little fingers!
Happy knitting !
