Product Details

Báirbre is worked seamlessly from the top down. Knitting starts with the cast on of the back neck, the shoulders and some first stitches of the fronts. You will increase before and after the shoulder ‘seam’ stitches on every row until you reach the final cross-back width. From that point increases are done to shape the sleeve caps, at the same time the V-neck shaping is done by adding stitches to the fronts. Once all shaping is complete, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold in order to work the body first to final length. Sleeve stitches are picked up again to work the sleeves top down in the round to the long ribbing. V-neck finishing is worked last.
