Product Details
Bambasala is an Aran-weight Cardigan with sneaky pockets – they're double knitted but there are also instructions for simpler inline pockets (tutorial link).
The yarn, Little Grey Sheep Gotland Aran is produced on Emma's and Susie's farm and has warmth, a slight halo, loft, and just the right sort of whiff of sheep to it. I want to knit with it forever.
Just like the Ziggurat (Simple Ziggurat), Bambasala has these features:
- tailored shoulders
- is seamless
- is knitted top down
- optional waist (and rear) shaping
- optional bust darts
- bold colour blocks
- simple, pleasing lines
- set in sleeves
The collar, buttonbands, and pockets are also knitted as you go. Not a seam in sight. Not one.
