This toe-up sock with a traditional heel flap and gusset, has a simple and easily remembered pattern. Use contrasting colours for best effect, maybe playing with a semi-solid or a gradient for one of the choices.

Gauge

9 sts and 10 rounds = 1"/2.5cm, in both stocking stitch and stranded colourwork. You may need to used two different sizes of needles.
