Basilikum is the German word for basil. My original green sample reminds me so much of basil leaves!
Pattern is given in two versions - you can knit a slouchy beanie version with a brim or a soft curved brimless version. Repetitive pattern rounds can be easily memorized. Just a perfect pattern to get started with brioche knitting or knit a gift for the ones you love. You can wear it in different ways, the pattern in front and back or on both sides. You can keep things simple with tonal neutrals and contrasting bright colors. If you have chosen two colors of your stash, use the lighter one as main color in the foreground (MC).
