These crochet Basketweave Baby Booties are as sweet as baby booties can be. Stitched up entirely using the basketweave stitch, these booties are textured, soft and extra comfy.
SizeThe pattern of the Basketweave Baby Booties is available in sizes for 0-3 months and 3-6 months.
GaugeSince the pattern is so small, the gauge is difficult to determine, so I decided not to describe the gauge in the usual way. Instead, I thought of an alternative way to let you check that your booties are turning out the right size. At the end of round 3, measure the length of the bootie sole. Make sure that you obtained the same length as the one described in the pattern or not too far off!
Yarn RecommendationsMy yarn recommendations for this pattern are DROPS Baby Merino or Katia Merino Baby, but any other sport-weight baby merino yarn will work fine. You’ll need a very small amount of yarn. I used approximately 22 g for the booties in size 0-3 months, and 26 g for the 3-6 months.
