Read the haunting tale of the Beeton Shawl [here][1].
This shawl has a very interesting & unique construction:
It begins with a square knit in the round, from the centre out. The top side of the square is then bound off, and a triangle is knit flat on each of the remaining 3 sides, beginning with the left wing and working around the remaining live stitches.
The Beeton Shawl can be knit in super bulky yarn, or in aran (worsted) yarn held double.
Thank you to my wonderful test knitters: [Abby][2], Anni, Chooi Wah, Heather, Julianne, and Mary.
And of course, my amazing tech editor, [Akshata Dhareshwar][3].
