Bertie the Bunny started life as a ball and just grew from there really. He is so fun and the perfect size for little hands. I choose cotton for my toys in case of exploring mouths and this is 100% washable.
There is no gauge included in this pattern but you can make it bigger/smaller by using thicker/thinner yarn. I recommend using a smaller than needed hook to keep your stitches tight and avoid any stuffing escaping. Using the materials above Bertie stands 15cm tall from tip of ears to bottom of legs.
I used 1 ball of paintbox cotton dk (50g) for the main colour and scraps for the second colour.
