Big Kisses

Big Kisses is a cute cardigan with lacy ‘X’s’ – kisses – across the yoke. The back, fronts and sleeves are worked from the bottom up, then joined at the armhole to work the yoke back and forth. Stitches for the button bands are cast on as part of the fronts, so there’s no seam in the bottom ribbing, then worked separately on smaller needles and stitched to the front edge. This gives a sturdy edging that won’t curl under. The pattern is appropriate for any double knitting yarns, but please check your tension and yardage carefully and adjust your needle size if necessary.
