Product Details
In my continuous wish not to waste any left over wool I decided to create a dog walking scarf for all those dog lovers out of leftover Rowan Big Wool. To create this I did need to purchase one extra 100g ball. I also adapted the pattern to utitlise the wool by creating deep stripes on part of the scarf. You can also extend the scarf if you wish. For this, I would recommend another one or two balls depending on your preference.
Many years ago I knitted my daughter a jumper with a dog's face on the front and lots of paws all over the reverse. I thought I would try to adapt the paw idea into something relatively simple for beginners to follow.
Therefore, included in this pattern is a chart for the paw but also, which I think is much easier to follow, a line by line instruction on completing the paw. Also in using Big Wool it is relatively easy to follow and makes quite an impact.
The scarf is chunky, soft and cosy. Ideal for those winter dog walking days.
