Product Details
This sweater is worked top-down in the round, starting with the body. At the top there is both variation in color and texture with altering knit and purl sections as well as two Latvian braids and a little bit of stranded colorwork. When the body is finished it is blocked and armholes are created by steeking and then grafting the shoulders together creating a boat-shaped neck. Sleeve stitches are picked up and started with German short-rows to create shaping, then they are finished with similar colorwork as the body.
A word on color selection: you will get the best result with two warm and two cold colors, all well contrasting. I would discourage using very variegated or speckled yarn.
MC 55% (Cold 1)
CC1 30% (Warm 1)
CC2 12% (Cold 2)
CC3 3% (Warm 2)
Tester yardages variated quite heavily so I would encourage taking some margins into account.
Testers rated pattern difficulty 6/10.

- Sleeve holes are made by steeking and I recommend reinforcing the steek using a sewing machine.
