Product Details
Bonnie is a cute 1940s-style cropped sweater that is fitted at the waist with mitred darts through the rib. This design can be worn with various amounts of ease and is ideal for styling with dresses, skirts and high-waisted trousers. Here Bonnie is photographed worn with negative ease at the chest/bust, negative ease at the waist and positive ease at the upper arm.
Bonnie is available in 12 sizes - please see the specification drawing and measurement table for further details and to check your body measurements; this will give you a more holistic view than just the chest/bust circumference. Upon purchase, you will receive follow-up tutorials via email from Natalie in Stitches on how to customise the garment and make alterations to get a beautifully fitting sweater.
Special techniques include:
lace increases and decreases (yo, ssk, k2tog, sk2po), centred double decrease (CDD)
The sample was knitted in DY Choice Cotton Fresh DK.
