Product Details
This is my first ever sock pattern. As such, I felt like I was bumbling around trying to figure out how to put words to my actions. I’ve been in a bee mood of late and wanted socks with bees fluttering about. So “Bumbling Bees” seemed like a fitting name for my socks. I have incorporated stripes and a simple lace section on the leg. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Note: These socks are made for an average adult female foot with a 9” circumference, using a 72 stitch count. The pattern is only available in one size because the Bees section is a 36 stitch repeat. Size can only be adjusted by changing your needle size and/or weight of yarn. The pattern is written for using a set of 5 DPNs. You may use your preferred method of knitting in the round, but this pattern won’t reflect the changes necessary to do so.
Gauge: 32sts/4”
Needles: 2.25 mm, or size necessary to obtain gauge.
Optional: A needle one size larger for bind off
Yarn: 2 colors of fingering weight yarn, 230 yards each
