Product Details
This Japanese inspired blanket features an extra wide rib pattern with a row of butterflies at each end. Most of the knitting is simple with the textured butterfly lace pattern to add interest.
The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted to ensure a pleasant knitting experience. I have also provided a YouTube tutorial to make it easier for you.
I wanted to design something for a baby girl and found this very delicate pattern but also added the plain extra-wide rib pattern because I liked the way it flowed on from the design.
Yarn weight: DK. I used 880 yards. Needles: 4mm/US6 circular needle 24 inches/60 cm long Notions: Tapestry needle, Stitch markers (optional) Finished size: Length: 37.5 inches/95 cm, width: 29 inches/74 cm.
Techniques used: yo, k2tog, SKP (left leaning) decrease, p2tog tbl, p2tog, k, p.
