Welcome to my free Butterfly Spirit design that’s 109 stitches by 67/69 rows. There are 3 different patterns of butterflies
When repeating the patterns start the repeat with row 2.
One repeat chain 112, 2 repeats chain 221, which includes the anchor stitches and turning chain for your first row.
An overlay mosaic crochet design using US terminology.
Using double knit yarn, my tester Barbara used 300m for the background colour and 250m for the detailed colour with each pattern so this gives you an indication for each section. With DK yarn, the measurements of each section repeat will be approximately 58/40cm with a size 3.75 hook.
