What I Love about the Cable Back Socks:
These are vanilla-ish enough to be a relaxing knit, yet they have loads of minimalist beauty in the details.
This cuff matches the heel perfectly as bookends for the cable.
A center back cable is timeless and suitable for ALL feet.
Just a bit of texture on the front adds interest without being overwhelming.
CONSTRUCTION Knit cuff down, in the round on DPNs or with MagicLoop Technique. Heel flap, turn, and gusset (my favorite for fit). Classic wedge toe.
YARN & SIZING Suggested yarn: Regia Premium Merino Yak for it’s amazing stitch definition and extra warmth while wearing, but please use any fingering weight sock yarn you like!
Three sizes included in the pattern (S=56st, M=64st, L=72st). Recommended needles: 2.25mm (US 1) or larger depending on your gauge and preferred fit.
Socks are one of my favorite things to knit - included in all my sock patterns are the best tips and tricks I’ve collected over the many many pairs I’ve knit.
