Product Details
This wrap, knitted using sport weight yarn, incorporates two distinct lace stitches, giving it quite an elegant look, while keeping your knitting interesting. The cable lace "checkerboard" is surrounded by a familiar lace faggotting stitch, which shows it off to it's best advantage. It is knit using sport weight yarn, making it a faster project than most wraps of shawls. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging, contained within the pattern. Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of both cabling and lace knitting.) The stitch is both charted and written out line by line. It is made using size (U.S.) #6 needles and approximately 800 yards of sport weight yarn. The yarn used in the sample is Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sport , undyed.
