Product Details

Caorann is named in Scots Gaelic after the Rowan trees brightening the Autumn Highland landscape. This pretty knitted bauble decoration will bring a warm Fair Isle touch to your Christmas tree, or make a special hand knitted gift.

Caorann is worked in the round, in four repeated segments; these instructions are for each segment, and include both charted and written directions. The colourwork section is designed to be very slightly nearer to the top of the bauble than the bottom.

Materials required:

Small quantities of Shilasdair Coara Fingering / 4ply (50g skein / 203 metres/ 222 yards approx) I used five colours, plus undyed white.
