Product Details
Knitting in the Summer sometimes needs to be light and easy. This scarf features a stitch pattern I developed and call a "Captive Double YO" (just because I need something to call it in my brain - it might have another name, who knows?). It is easy to work, easy to memorize, and reading your stitches is simple so you can put down & pick up the project at will.
Originally worked in DK, one of my testers mentioned that the scarf would look great with beads - and I am a sucker for beads. So there are optional instructions in fingering weight for those who like a little sparkle. But because it is pretty much a "knit until you run out of yarn" the options for yarn substitution is only limited by your creativity, just make sure it can be blocked.
If you are interested in the beaded version you will need a wee crochet hook to apply the size 6/0 beads and approximately 158 beads (9g) to match my beading pattern. Y
