Chase the Rainbow window hanging

I’m loving the ‘chase the rainbow’ pictures, paintings and other art work that people are displaying in their windows at the moment. My daughter suggested I do something in crochet and I gladly took up the challenge! So here is my pattern for you to make your own rainbow, display it for others to see as they pass by and hopefully we can spread a little joy in these testing times.

Materials:

For the rainbow shown, I used stylecraft special dk yarn colours; given in brackets: Background colour (White 16g) red bst: Red Bobble Stitch (Lipstick, 21g) O bst: Orange Bobble Stitch (spice, 14g) Y bst: Yellow Bobble Stitch (saffron, 12g) G bst: Green Bobble Stitch (pistachio, 13g) B bst: Blue Bobble Stitch (turquoise, 9g) I bst: Indigo Bobble Stitch (royal, 10g) v bst: Violet Bobble Stitch (plum. 6g)

The amount of yarn given is approximate, you may use more or less yarn depending on your tension and chosen brand.
