Product Details
Cherie, Stella, or Brooke are a funky looking chicken, hen, or some similar kind of bird. The pattern offers three options. The polka dot pattern in two colors as stranded colorwork, or polka dots in one color with knits and purls, or fancy stripes. The choice is yours. The bird is knit from bottom to top in one piece in the round. The top of its body is closed with Kitchener stitch and then you continue with the neck and head. The comb and beak are knit separately and sewn on. The eyes are either embroidered, or use two buttons, or two safety eyes. The polka dot patterns are charted or written out. Use the pattern I for the body, and pattern II for the neck and head.
