Chubby Cheryl, with her distinctive Dutch markings and pom-pom tail, measures 25cm/9⅞in from the tips of her ears to her dainty white toes and is made using just yarn, stuffing and a pair of buttons. Her head is knitted using the intarsia method but only for a few rows at a time, making this carrot-collecting critter the ideal project for more adventurous knitters!
If you’ve never tried intarsia before, there are lots of helpful videos and tutorials online. Alternatively, Cheryl would look just as cute knitted in a single colour or using a fuzzy yarn.
