The perfect something extra that shows off your knitting skills. This complex pattern is worth the time. Knit a wide scarf with charted or written directions, or the stole option with a chart.
The look of the fabric is more important than matching gauge. Most testers used less then 60 yards per repeat for the scarf. One used the same amount for two repeats. Checking yardage after a repeat or two will give you a more accurate yardage needed for your yarn and needle combination.
This is an advanced pattern that uses the following stitches: cables, yo, double yo, k2tog, ssk, cdd, twisted stitches on right and wrong side. Explanations are given for abbreviations, but you will need to know how to work the stitch.
Green model scarf in Lacey by Interlacements color Lime was 14 inches wide, 72 inches long. It used exactly 700 yards.
