So give that bottle of wine (maybe the one you had lying around and has to do as a last minute Christmas gift…) a little Holiday Cheers!
Each beanie is a small, easy project, that can be finished in an evening or so. Only small amounts of yarns are needed, so a bottle beanie is a great project to use up any scraps and colors you have lying around.
These models measure 12 cm and were done on short 2.5 mm double pointed needles (US 1., UK 13) in Rowan Felted Tweed (157) camel or (160) gilt, (175) cinnamon or (190) stone and single threads from a strand of Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine. The beanies require knitting in the round or pocket style knitting (tutorial included), intarsia color work and crocheting (chain stitches only).
