Product Details
Christmas Stocking Harlequin was designed for those of us that want a little bit more whimsy in our lives this Christmas. It’s not that I don’t love tradition, which I do, I just wanted a bit of my imagination hanging from the mantel this year.
Pictured Christmas Stocking was worked up using Perfection by Kraemer Yarns but any worsted weight yarn will work. Take a look at Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Merino. There are a lot of fabulous colors to choose from there.
I wanted my Christmas Stocking Harlequin to be long and lean. If you would like a larger circumference for your stocking just use a bulky weight yarn.
A couple of helpful videos are provided with the pattern: 1. Placing the waste yarn for the afterthought heel. 2. How to pick up the stitches, remove the waste yarn and work up the afterthought heel.
Also, the pattern provides two ways to create the toe. A standard sock toe and an Elf toe that curls and decorated with a jingle bell.
Merry Christmas! 🎄
