Natural sunlight is made up of different wavelengths of light and each wavelength is a particular color. Think rainbows and the visible color spectrum!
For my Color of Light shawl, I used the lovely Cascade Yarns® Merino Dream that is a brightly colored, hand-dyed single-ply fingering weight yarn (437 yards/100 grams) that comes in eight beautiful variegated colors.
The Color of Light shawl starts at the bottom point and is crocheted upwards in straight rows forming a large right-angle triangle. The main body section and end section of the shawl are both easy two-row repeats and there is no stitch or row counting, with stopping points determined by measuring.
The stitch patterns are interesting and one flows into the next and with no stitch or row counting this shawl is truly a relaxing crochet pattern that you can work on while watching movies, visiting with friends, or traveling.
