Product Details

I designed this pattern for a color-work class in order to show the students the way to play with color in their knitting. The Project Bag is a particularly good tool to show what happens when you shift background and foreground colors. Using these directions, you can play with your own favorite colors to create a color-work masterpiece. For the color-chart, just decide which color is first, the main color, than which of the contrasting colors are A, B, C and D. Than have at it! You’ll be amazed at how fun and interesting this little project can be – and the bag (or baby tam) you have at the end of your experimenting are fun and useful!

Baby-tam (or wall-hanging): 8" diameter to fit up to a 2T
Project bag: 6" diameter and 10" long (strap is approx. 10-1/2")

For the tam you will need 4 colors: mc = 60 yds; cc (3) = approx 40 yards of each

For the project pay you will need 5 colors: mc = 60 yards; cc (4) = approx 40 yards of each

This is a great stash buster proj
