COPIHUE is inspired by the national flower of my country, the chilean bellflower or Copihue.
A legend says that during the Arauco War (1536-1818), the women of the weichafes ('warriors') climbed the highest trees to see the survivors of the battles. Realizing that destruction reigned and that their companions were lying dead, they came down shedding tears that turned into flowers of blood; Thus, the red copihues remember the spirits of the dead.
Copihue is a tee worked from the top down with a scalloped hem with short rows.
