Photos taken after our sweaters have been worn quite a few times, but it's only because they get so much use!

Every spring and summer, while I pull the weeds from my flower beds, my girls sit next to me, turning over the large round rocks that line my garden, looking for crickets.

I love to hear them squeal when the sought after bug leaps from his hiding place into the light of day.

I knit this classic, vintage inspired, sweater to keep my girls warm while we’re out planting bulbs and getting the spring garden ready. I highly recommend Chickadee yarn by Quince and Co for this project as it keeps the sweater light and lofty.

This pattern has the option of delicious, little, textured set in pockets. If knitting without pockets, this sweater is completely seamless. Pockets add a small amount of seaming. Adult version of this sweater found here!
