These mitts are special - the crocodile scales are only on the backs of the hands, with smooth palms, so they are both pretty and practical! The scales point toward the wrist, not the fingers, for a smooth look and feel. (Note that in the first photo, the one on the right is upside down.)
These mitts were originally designed for the Craftsy Class, Crochet Crocodile Stitch, available at www.craftsy.com/ext/TamaraKelly10211F
Within that class,you can see the addition of the crocodile scales and how this pattern is made. If you are already familiar with the Crocodile Stitch, then you may be ready for this pattern without a demo.
