A detailed representation of H P Lovecraft’s mythical creature Cthulhu, knitted mostly in reverse stocking (stockinette) stitch.
This toy was originally created as a promotional item for the October 2013 publication of the book Cthulhu cymraeg: Lovecraftian tales from Wales (ISBN 978-1906652210), edited by Mark Howard Jones and published by Screaming Dreams. Three Cthulhu toys were raffled by the publisher, with a further two made as gifts. The very first toy to be made is owned by the editor of the book.
