Product Details
The pattern is available separately here and on ravelry or in issue 18 of the Addicted to Sock Knitting ezine.
This pair of shortie socks features kitties playing, pouncing, ignoring, sleeping and stretching. They were definitely inspired by my cat, Lacey who loves being around yarn as much as I do.
The socks are knitted toe-up with a short row heel. There is a stranded pattern on the sole of the foot with cats arranged over the top. While they are spaced closely enough for stranded knitting, I have used the Ladderback Jacquard technique and provided an explanation and a Youtube video for this technique should you want to learn it.
Needles: 2.75 mm DPNs (US 2)
Sizes: S/M/L (20/22.5/25 cm/8/9/10 inches) These socks are sized without ease.
