Product Details
This is a very simple slouchy toque, much like the one worn by main character Abe Woodhull, leader of the Culper spy ring, in the AMC series Turn. To maintain the rustic look of the original inspiration, the ribbing is worked in the same size needle as the stockinette stitch. A tubular cast-on is recommended, but any other stretchy CO will also work.
The original pattern calls for Woolfolk SNO yarn, but any fingering weight wool will work well for this project. A heathered shade will be especially attractive.
