Product Details
These face scrubbies are washable and reusable. They are made from 100% DK cotton. Each scrubbie uses 9g/18m of yarn.
It is constructed in the round with 4 rounds in total. Make sure to turn after both round's 2 and 3. This will mean that the cluster stitches are worked on the wrong side of the work so when the work is turned around the puffed side of the stitch is on the right side of the work.
Stitches used - UK terms - puff, tr clusters, dc, htr, tr sts and invisible join
Finished size - 8.5cm wide
Gauge/Tension is not important for the pattern although it might effect yarn amount used.
Gauge/Tension is measured on finished item - 2.5 rounds from centre is 2.5 cm.
The scrubbies in the pattern use an Australian Cotton DK weight yarn from Lincraft. The yarns suggested to use are a similar meterage per 50g so they should produce a scrubbie in a similar size if gauge is met.
Alternative yarn weight - Aran/10ply/worsted weight cotton uses a 4.5mm hook, measures 10cm/4ins, and uses 18g/36m yarn.
