Product Details
A top down shawl with Danish style shaping, textured with garter ridges and a ripple edge. Perfect for tying in the Danish style or wrapping around your neck. Can be worked in a fingering/4ply or lace weight yarn or why not try the smallest size with DK or worsted weight yarn for a really warm shawl. Pattern contains full written instructions and charts.
Yardage: Shawlette - 730m (820yds) Shawl - 1000m (1093yds) Super Shawl - 1500m (1640yds) 3 Sizes, plus easy resizing.
Danish tie shawls are traditionally worn with the central point down the back, the 2 ends cross over the chest then under the arms and the ends are then tied at the back. The long points facilitate this easy tying. It works really well to keep your shoulders and upper arms warm whilst keeping the ends out of the way and the shawl secure. You can of course wear it anyway you want!
