Having used Debbie Bliss yarn for many years, I am very disappointed with this purchase as the baby cashmerino yarn is uneven in volume, even though there are 6 strands. It does not knit up evenly. I will refrain from purchasing again.

This yarn is very nice to work with. However, I had ordered 3 balls in “flame” (1st picture), which was orange. I then ordered 5 more balls in “flame” (2nd picture) and they are pink. As you can see from attached labels, the manufacturer seems to have made an error. I was disappointed because I’ve been knitting pumpkin hat/bootie/mitten sets and can’t make any more because I can’t find a nice orange. Last picture is of the two together to show the color contrast.
I love this yarn for more than baby outfits! It comes in beautiful colours and is great to work with - I am currently obsessed with making 50’s style sleeveless jumpers in Fair Isle patterns.

The wool is great for babies……. Soft, lovely colours and it washes really well. It’s expensive but definitely worth the money. I’ve been using Debbie Bliss yarns for many years.
