„Di” triangular shawl is worked from the tip to the widest edge in a brioche pattern in combination with garter stitch. Increases are made at the edges, and short row shaping is added towards the wide end to achieve an overall more pleasing shape.
Materials: approx. 790 yards (720 meters) any sport weight yarn. Pink sample is knit with Di Gilpin Lalland (100% Wool): 50g/ 191 yards (175 meters) in colorway “Bell Heather”. Beige sample is knit with The Fibre Co. Luna (50% Wool, 25% Cotton, 15% Cellulose – Linen, 10% Silk): 50g/ 131 yards (125 meters) in colorway “Willow”.
Gauge: 18 sts and 26 rows per 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch after blocking. Gauge is not essential; however, with a different gauge, actual finished measurements and total yardage will change.
