Product Details
I kept thinking about dwarves while working on the pattern for this shawl, which resulted in the name of Diamond Mine.
Diamond Mine is a crescent shape shawl with stockinette wings that begins with a single diamond in the center back. The diamond panel increases out, stealing stitches from the wings as it grows.
The pattern is written for beads to be placed at the tip of each diamond. The border pattern is more heavily beaded. The beads are completely optional. If beading, a small crochet hook or dental floss will be needed to add the beads to the individual stitches. You will need about 600 or so size 6/0 beads.
A crochet hook about the same size as the knitting needle used is needed for the crochet cast-off.
The shawl as written is 88 rows deep. Size can be adjusted as desired by changing the number of times Chart B is worked.
GaugeIt is not necessary to achieve the gauge listed in the pattern. Please use a needle size that will result in the desi
