This blanket can be knit for a boy or girl. There are many great color options out there for you to choose from. It is a simple enough lace pattern for a knitter new to lacework, but enough to keep the more experienced knitter from falling asleep.
This blanket can be knit with either Bernat Mosaic or Crystal Palace Mochi Plus yarn. If using the Mosaic, you'll need a size 8 US needle, and for the Mochi plus - a 10 1/2. Of course you'll want to knit up a a gauge swatch to be sure to use the correct needle size to obtain gauge.
