Divination is knitted in rows from end to end, beginning with the narrow tip and working to the wide lace border. An I-cord cast-on and applied I-cord bind-off are matched by integrated I-cord edges along the sides. A lace panel is worked along the long edge, and then the same pattern is worked in broad stripes at the end.
