This poncho is in memory of my childhood spent in Donegal, known as the most beautiful county in Ireland. My sister and I were knitted our first ponchos and we proudly showed them off at mass one Summer. These can be blinged up as much as you desire and fringes or pompoms can be added to the edging. It is knit on straight needles over an 8 row repeat pattern.

Pattern quite easy to follow, happy with end result. Easy to put together, I have knitted other shawls that were so complicated. Did it in the smallest size and it looked really cute. Not been worn before yet though.
