My doorstop is colorful and cheerful to look at - with its height of almost 11.8in and its weight of 8.8lb it is big and heavy enough to reliably hold any door in the desired position. It is crocheted from only one ball of wool. The 11-page crochet tutorial is also very suitable for crochet beginners. Everything is explained and shown exactly and step-by-step. We crochet single crochets, chain stitches and double crochets.
Materials:• 1 ball = 150g (0.3lb) “Fano” line 359 from Online, Bulky (7 wpi), with me color no. 0049 and 08 • 15 g (0.5ounces) single color matching yarn (e.g. “Bravo” or “Twister Sport”); for me “Twister Sport”, DK (11 wpi) , color 074 and “Bravo” color 8325 ) • Crochet hook size 4.5mm (UK 7; US: 7) • darning needle, scissors • For the filling: 1 cotton bag (shopping bag) and approx. 8.8lb of fine pebbles. • Some synthetic cotton wool/craft absorbent cotton
