Product Details
This is a fun, quick, and easy project for crafters with intermediate crochet skills. The Double Shell Market Bag is worked in double crochet with front-post double-crochet creating a pinwheellike pattern for the base of the bag. The front-post double-crochet also adds a bit of sturdiness to the base of the bag, reinforcing it to better support its contents. The handles are also reinforced with reverse single crochet.
Finished market bag shown below measures approximately 16.5” wide by 17” high excluding handles, 16.5” wide by 23” high including handles, when it is lying flat on a table. Pattern can be easily adjusted for a deeper version of the bag.
