Product Details
Dragon Tears is based on the center design panel, known as “Teardrops” in the design book that I used. The pattern resembles a heart design with a single drop in the middle of it, which I thought looked very much like a dragon’s eye with the moss stitch background. A second element to mimic dragon skin is the diagonal knit/purl increase area. Instead of plain stockinette, I wanted to keep it interesting by adding some simple knit and purl stitches that would flatter the “V” shape of the shawl.
