Boxy sweater inspired by a runway sample from designer Dries Van Noten. Pattern is for the striped squares that can be arranged according to the knitter's design preference, and seamed for the final garment. Stripes are charted and graded to keep the same stripe effect across all seven sizes. Sweater requires 26 squares while the separate cowl neck piece requires an additional three squares.
While this written and charted pattern represents my own work and problem solving about design obstacles inherent in the garment, I did not come up with the original idea nor did I design the stripe pattern. For these reasons, I will be donating all proceeds to World Central Kitchen.
