Product Details
This is the baby jacket, or little coat, that I made because I really hate sewing seams! I never seem to get a seam I’m happy with on the sides of a kitting or crochet piece, so this is designed with the sleeves made as a tube (no seam there!) and the back and fronts of the bodice worked onto them, so just one seam at the middle of the back, and that’s on the top edge of two pieces so they can be placed together to fit exactly, so it lies dead flat. The rest of the jacket is just worked onto the bodice directly, so at right angles to the sleeve stitches, with no more sewing apart from finishing off the ends. I like the change of direction of the stitches, it makes it more interesting. I hope you like it too!
